Big session

WOW- my story has just taken another step up!An old client rang me last week to see me- he'd attempted suicide a  couple of days ago and I'm the first person he thought of.Life had got very out of control for him, personally, financially, professionally. He couldn't see any other way out.We took a small step today, he knows I understand. He's coming again next week. No investigating, just an hour of F/O hold and breathing.Big breaths, big breaths. It was great to be able to 'help without getting…See More

What therapies do you practice?
Kinesiology, Sekhem Reiki, Ear Candling
WHO do you work with and WHAT do you do for them?
My treatments help busy, overwhelmed people turn their chaotic lives into order.
Tell Us A Little Bit About Yourself and Your Practice
It continues to evolve - I have a dedicated room set up at home and also travel to nearby towns.

I come from a background of working in a major public hospital as a Radiation Therapist ( we treat cancer patients with X-Rays) but have always been interested in things alternative/ complementary.

In 2006 I had the opportunity to be introduced to Kinesiology and I was hooked!
I had to become one.
Then I also became a Reiki Master.

My unique ‘4 Steps to Wellness Program’ balances many different facets to encourage relaxation and healing. With this program, my clients have more energy and deal with stress better , so they can function more efficiently in both their working and personal lives.

I also jump at the chance to do guest speaking as it is an excellent way to increase the awareness of Kinesiology around the community, and I love doing it.
How Long Have You Been a Health & Wellbeing Practitioner?
A few years now, but unofficially probably centuries!
What Do You Love Most About Your Work?
That I can help people to ENJOY living again!!!
I love that I can make work fit into MY lifestyle, not the other way around, so I can be around for my children.
I love Kinesiology because I never know what I will be doing to each client - they lead the session - it's a bit like being a private investigator,
and I love Reiki for the gentle, yet powerful healing it can facilitate.
Where Do You Live?
Strathalbyn, South Australia- a lovely peaceful spot just past the Adelaide hills, about an hour from the city.

How is everyone?

My life continues to get busier, but good busy.

Opportunities I would never even have dreamed of have come to fruition-

Let me explain...

I was happy getting about 100 new people to my Overcoming Overwhelm page on Facebook each week, it was ticking over quite nicely. Then, a few days ago, I was close to 1500 (about 23 away) and put it out there that 'I'd like to get there today'. It seems the Universe had other ideas for me- I…

How Many Strings in your Bow?

Posted on June 11, 2011 at 8:17pm 3 Comments

Seems I've found something else that might be of service to other practitioners...

I facilitated a couple of friends who are also Complementary Therapists here yesterday for what turned into an impromptu photo shoot.

How hard is it to get good 'action shots' without compromising your clients?

Well, we joined forces and took it in turns to be the therapist , another was the client and the third was photographer.

My girlfriend has used her's (which I took BTW) to create a… Continue

I've just booked another interview into my diary, my second.

This one comes after a request was put out for Inspirational Birth Stories, so I shot of an email and have my slot booked for next week.

I look at this kind of stuff the same as going for a job interview when you know you don't ahve a chance of getting the job. Its about experience, getting comfortable talking to people you don't really know yet, developing rapport and telling your story. Allowing…

Integrity and Me

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 1:40pm 3 Comments

My word for this lifetime is Integrity.

I know that now, I'm learning many lessons about it.

I don't get cross when it keeps coming up, in fact I now celebrate the progression from one lesson to another, much like the kids progress from yera one, thru two etc until they leave school.

Except with life, you never really finish, do you?

I'm loving that people 'out there' are starting to just know me as the me I am now- and really respecting…

Hi Robyn!  Nice to hear from you.  Margaret does sing your praises every now and then so I have been wondering who this Robyn from Strath is!!  Your work sounds very interesting, I have always wondered about Kinesiology but don't know a lot about it.  I've heard good things from people that have had it.  I consult from The Eternal Spirit in Goodwood here in Adelaide at the moment but may be moving premises soon if a new venture pays off.....fingers crossed!!  You say that my story is similar to yours, I would love to hear it one day.  Always good to see how others have navigated and grown through their challenges!  Regards, Georgina x

Thanks Robyn!! I certainly will have a look around.  I'm very much appreciating Margaret's influence (and the other Easy Solutions participants) at the moment it's keeping me moving forward, slowly but surely.

Thanks for getting in touch, Robyn. Yes, I've been a bit distracted from Wellbeingwinners lately. I put an ad on the Massage Association website for therapists to work for my massage agency, and people have replied(!) Now I have to find work for them!!! Then there are layers of further organizational stuff that I am discovering and it is all pretty necessary to get sorted out, in order to get things functioning with this business. I have also been participating in a Michael Charest group, plus other calls from different sources every so often. I need the input of direct involvement in calls- it is energizing to have my questions clarified by experts (even if it sometimes means being up at 4am to participate in the US calls). I think isolation has been a big block in getting through stuff, so this is helping me move on to a different level re my competence/vision.
My voice is still there in the MOSH pit, and will be there again next week, so I'm around, though making flying visits at the moment.
Glad your business is going well- the quiet times can be a chance to recharge.i wish you well. Lia
