    G'day folks
Its been soooo long since I visited! Good to see that the Forum is still active and you are all doing so well.

    Meeting Margz in the Flesh!

Well, I can now say I've met the illustrious Ms Margz.
She and the lovely Sam came along to our Business women's Support Group last night at Cleggett Wines and what an honour it was to talk with her! After an eventful day and a few misunderstandings about the distance we actually are from the city, she came, she spoke she inspired us all. A great night was had by all- even after you left Margz, we continued on until midnight!
We enjoyed beautiful food and wine, the buzz in the room was electric… Continue

New Coaches Group and Is it time to Coach or Quit

I started a new group here a few weeks ago for coaches so I invite all you coach types to join the group.

I came across this very thought provoking video from Terrine Levine who I have come to regard as one of the more spirtual coaching experts. These guys are saying thing like 'Law of Attraction' isn't working too well in this economy. There is a free teleconference you can sign up for and yeah they are promoting an event but still think it worth checking.… Continue

    Follow-up - Fast!

I've been reminded this week just how crucial it is to follow-up - fast.

My lovely offspring gave me a voucher for a relaxation massage at a gorgeous little clinic nearby. They've been in business just over 12 months, have done some good marketing and networking, have a great website and their name pops up all over the place in the local region - so far so good . . . I phoned on Tuesday to book in - the call went to message bank - warm, friendly professional answering service, assuring me I'd b… Continue

Setting up my own office for the first time

    HI
I am in the process of setting up my own office in what is largely an osteopathy practice. Is very exciting and also scary having made a stretch financially to do this. It's amazing how much my creativity for courses etc is flowing again.

Any tips would be gratefully appreciated as am still very much in the transition process from the corporate world.

I am also after someone to share the space a couple of days a week so if anyone knows anyone in Canberra who might be after somewhere, please… Continue

    Back in Oz

I'm glad to be back in Australia! Today I'm enjoying listening to my friend, Adrian Kosky, as he is working out a melody and strumming a new tune on his guitar whilst sitting in the sun out on the front porch. It's good for my health and wellbeing to be here!

My current schedule allows me to be out and about, here down under, until July 10th. There might be a road trip or two/three included in this trip. I've already had the privilege of a day and a picnic at the beautiful Lorne Beach. Posted p… Continue

Gee time flies when you're having fun!

Well, I can't believe it's been over a month since my last blog, so I'll fill you in on what I've been up to.....
Business steady, attended my first Karoonda Farm Fair and promoted myself shamelessly. Gave value, met people, started to develop a rappport with the rural community. Had packages available that have been taken advantage of- I've even seen 2 new clients already.
With that success to push me along, I have released a new pricing structure based around packages and it seems to be workin… Continue

    Blocking Facebook's Cutesy Stuff

If facebook friends would like to prevent facebook friends from being silly, willynilly, and still keep all their facebooking friends,.....this is how that can be done:

At the top right hand corner of a facebook page, to the left of the search bar, place the mouse/cursor and let it hover over the word "Settings," until the drop down menu appears. Then move the cursor/mouse to the word "Application Settings," and click on it. This page should appear:

    Facebook

I noticed Mz Margz's new facebook badge and have read the discussion about the annoying bits that can happen on facebook. Recently, I blocked a few of the applications that friends were using to "send me gifts," because the idea of not replying to my friends' attention was bothering me -- but I wasn't really wanting hugs and hearts from them....I really just wanted to use facebook to keep up with anything they might be doing that we would normally share during conversation and visits.

I'm happy to be here, vacationing in Daylesford. Right now I am sitting by a pond, blogging via wireless internet connection.....experiencing peace combined with the luxury of high tech communications! Pretty Amazing.

    special blog entry

I know I've done a blog recently, but just have to share this with everyone.
I saw my first Aura today!!
I was giving a client some Reiki when it just appeared- around her feet to begin with, growing and moving, changing colour too.
Even when I looked away, it returned when I looked back- it was AWESOME!!
At one stage, it appeared to retreat to only one side, so I asked the client to 'shake herself clean' (release wheatever needed releasing) and lo and behold, her aura returned evenly around her… Continue

    Patience is a virtue

As I sit here today watching the welcome rain soaking into the ground, I have realised that everything comes eventually!
I cannot remember the last time it rained or even felt cool, it has been such a long, hot and dry summer, but it did come- and what a relief it is.
I remember reading somewhere that breath is the most valuable thing in the world, our bodies expect that as you exhale, the air is just waiting to be breathed in again. Nature knows and expects what it needs will just come- even if… Continue

    ZPoint experience

After the workshop which I took part in yesterday, I can say with confidence that it is a wonderful process. Grant guided us through the process to release many of our undesirable feelings, to the point of being in total peace. At least that was my experience. I felt like I was floating along on cloud 9 for quite awhile. Then to be grounded with the delicious and copious amount of food we shared. Delicious, nutritious and completed with the heavenly taste and texture of handmade chocolates which… Continue

Call to Action - Many Hands-One Heart

    www.manyhands-oneheart.blogspot.com

We've all watched in shock the unprecedented horror of the Victorian bushfires. However, in the midst of the devastation its been so heartening and humbling to experience the gift of unity and oneness emerging from us as one big Aussie heart . . . between humans, animals, plants and planet...and not least of all Australia and the rest of the world.

What kind of client are you attracting?

I came across this article in a newsletter put out by Book yourself solid network. Whilst the main focus of the site is coaches I think it is equally relevant for most natural therapists.

I have just followed my gut and declined to coach someone who I knew would be a struggle and wasn't ready to change/achieve big things. Most of us have probably come from ' struggling' with some aspect of our life or business, but have now moved into the achievement realm.

Well in a fit of inspiration on Monday, I'm 3/4 of the way through writing my Business Plan!
